Zak Stevens , former lead singer of the great Savatage , this time with a concept album , "Burden of Truth" . It seems like every other band releases concept albums with religious questions , this one with some kind of Da vinci code plot.Why cant someone give us a story about dragons and evil sorcerer's ? Anyway . .
Zak and his musicians delivers classic heavy metal with som progressive tendenses. This together with powerful and clear production , makes "Burden of truth" more than an acceptable release .We also all know that Zak Stevens has a great voice , and he does not let anyone down here either . There are some slight resemblance's to the old Savatage sound on some parts of the record , but that is only a benefit in my book. All in all , this is a album recommended to all fans of classic metal , check it out !
